All through the winter
The root children are asleep underground
But when Spring comes
Mother Earth wakes them up again
Then the root Children are busy painting, cleaning beetles and bugs
They go up to the ground and play in the fields, meadows and ponds.
“One forget-me-not and two dragonflies “
Oooh and soon summer comes
By the wheat fields they dance, what a joy!
Flowers and lady bugs
Oh how do they wish it was summer all year long!
But Autumn comes with winds and storms so they soon get back home
Mother Earth waits by the door
“Go to sleep, little ones “
